Do Now: Check that you submitted your Reading Guide 5 and your grade. Look for comments on specific questions as I had some questions for you.
Begin and submit your BLENDSPACE! If you didn't look at an example or watch the "How To" video it will be difficult to successfully complete the BLENDSPACE. There is a RUBRIC with the project. Scroll all the way down the assignment page.

10/20/15 - CAGE The Rage Video Notes, View My Piktochart, & Brainstorming Session!
1. Open Evernote and take down just the BIG ideas. As a summary write a Dear George Letter - summarizing the video. You may use your notes and make sure to inlcude the biggest ideas or takeways. 3-5 sentences, but you can do more! You should write you letter directly under you notes, but may create a new note if you wish!

3. Genius Hour Pitch Brainstorming. The projects should be about the project, not the content or the research. Everyone is going to do research. If you said you were researching, then you missed the boat! My fault.

10/5/1 & 10/6/15 - Begin Folder 4: Managing Stress and Coping with Loss: All other folders will be invisible in order to move forward. The folders will be made visible when class is over. All make-up work needs to be completed on Tuesday and Thursday's after school with the new homework club advisor. I will write you a pass if you're going to stay. Please let me know. Of course you may complete work at home, or from a library, or a friends house. I will get in the habit of closing the old folders during class and re-opening when you leave. 1. Finish Google Slides and Submit through Schoology / Resources Tab to apps and choose the Presentation with a check mark and hit the down arrow next to the gear and import file. (as we did with our Genius Hour Google Doc).
2. Popplet Brancihng Questions - Upload as a File from the Upload Tab. Ask if you need help as this is our first time uploading a screenshot.
3. Open a Google Doc and title it Genius Hour Research Notes Page. While in the doc, click tools, and then research. Practice adding citations and inserting links. Do both until we have a specific task. Only add citations and links from Website you really like and want to visit later. This isn't for me... it's for you!!!!

3. Reading guide questions should be completed in the Healthy life folder. The puzzle piece and please use the textbook to complete the reading guide. Studying the vobab words should help greatly. NOTE: While you are reading keep in mind you will create a short radio annoucement with a partner at the end of the chapter. The goal of this will be to become an advocate for Health promotion.
